Pierce County is seeking a Senior Utility Planner focused on long-range planning and agreements. You will lead development of long-range plans, prepare agreements, and support legislative updates for the Sewer and Water Division.

As part of Planning and Public Works, you will collaborate with engineers, planners, and community leaders to enhance sewer planning and sustainability, coordinate with jurisdictions, and communicate with County staff and stakeholders.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Planning or related field.
• Three years of related planning work.

• Serve as SME for assigned planning projects and programs.
• Interpret laws and regulations affecting planning changes.
• Prepare and present reports to officials and the public.
• Draft planning documents, code amendments and policies.
• Represent the Department at meetings.
