Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a remote Lead UniData Software Support Engineer to join our Software Engineering Quick Response Team.

You will be the senior escalation resource for Ferguson's ERP platform, Trilogie, and partner with engineering, QA, business analysts, and support teams to ensure uptime, stability, and performance. This role demands deep UniData and UniBasic expertise, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience supporting applications built on UniData/UniBasic or other Pick-based tech.
• Strong ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production issues.
• Experience providing support for APIs and web services.
• Experience working with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
• Experience in multi-server environments and high-volume transaction processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of Trilogie, Ferguson's ERP platform.
• Monitor system health and investigate production incidents.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex software and application issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, BA, and support teams to improve reliability.
• Document findings, resolutions, and known issues; mentor teammates.
