Job summary

UFP Technologies, a designer and manufacturer serving the medical device industry, is seeking a Senior ERP Application Developer. The role focuses on bringing data from multiple systems into a single dataset, supporting ERP modules, and leading integrations.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software development with ERP experience, MSSQL, and C#/.NET expertise, and is capable of leading cross-functional teams. Applicants must reside in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of software or application development experience, including ERP implementations.
• Experience designing a data brokerage from multiple systems or similar.
• Knowledge of MSSQL, C# .Net 6+/Core 3.1+, HTML/CSS/JS, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Ability to lead teams and projects and communicate business needs clearly.
• Travel willingness for project needs.

Summary

The Senior ERP Application Developer provides functional support for various systems and / or applications by working with business users and technical teams. The developer must be able to bring data from multiple systems into a single common dataset. Demonstration of expertise in the specific functional aspects of the applications is necessary. The developer must have general knowledge of the functional areas of the system and possess a working knowledge of related applications or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modules. Maintenance of current system / industry related knowledge by the developer on system functionality is vital to meet the needs of the business users.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Designs and develops complex data systems and integrations.
• Understands how to merge multiple similar datasets from separate sources into single common dataset.
• Implements solutions at the application level or on the web.
• Leads complex systems projects and project groups.
• Recommends process improvements.
• Facilitates discussion and develops options for system implementation. Other tasks as assigned such as mastering specific technical skills and contributing to the application programming efforts.
• Acts as the key contact for outside application / technology providers, as needed.
• Queries data using MSSQL and delivers reports and dashboards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of software or application development experience, including two to four years’ experience with ERP implementations and integrations.
• Must have designed at least one data brokerage from multiple systems or similar.
• Technical report writing experience, strongly preferred.
• Some experience leading teams and projects.
• Knowledge of and experience working with MSSQL, C# .Net 6+/Core 3.1+, HTML/CSS/JS or similar.
• REST/SOAP API experience.
• Must have demonstrated leadership ability to clearly identify business issues related to the implementation of applications.
• Must have demonstrated leadership ability to clearly identify business issues related to implementation of applications, facilitate agreements that create solutions at all levels of the organization, and implement those solutions through to closure.
• Must be comfortable and capable of leading group discussions and facilitating business process decisions in cross functional groups.
• Ability to travel when needed.
