Job summary

Second Dinner is seeking a Senior UI Artist for MARVEL SNAP to define and elevate the game's interface and player experience. You will own UI art from concept to final implementation, translating gameplay and UX requirements into polished, expressive visuals.

Collaborate with UX Designers, Engineers, Product, and the Art Director to solve complex visual challenges. You’ll establish and maintain UI visual standards, mentor other artists, and contribute to evolving MARVEL SNAP’s visual identity in

Qualifications

10+ years of UI/UX or game art experience.
Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI/visual design and iconography.
Fundamentals in visual design, typography, color, and information design.
Solid understanding of UX principles and human-computer interaction.

Responsibilities

Own the visual design and execution of UI from concept through final implementation.
Create high-quality UI assets: screens, panels, buttons, icons, backgrounds, and decorative elements.
Translate UX flows into clear, intuitive UI solutions.
Develop style guides and prototypes to communicate design intent.
Collaborate with UX Designers, Engineers, Producers, and other artists to tackle UI challenges.
Maintain cohesive visual standards across UI features and systems.
Design UI interactions and visual states including transitions and feedback.
Implement UI art directly in the game engine with production-ready assets.
Prototype, iterate, and refine designs based on playtests and feedback.
Identify opportunities to improve existing UI and raise visual quality.
Help establish efficient workflows and best practices for UI art production.
Provide mentorship to other artists.
