Job summary

A leading technology company seeks Senior & Lead Transmission Line Engineers for multiple roles. Candidates will work on electric transmission line design projects for high and extra high-voltage systems. Responsibilities include engineering analyses, preparing documents, and collaborating with clients. A Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering with relevant experience is essential. This position is 100% remote, preferably for those aligned with Mountain Time hours. The expected pay range is $73,450 - $132,775 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Mid - Senior Level: 4+ years of relevant experience in electric utility transmission systems design.
• Lead Level: 8+ years of relevant experience including leadership and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineers on electric transmission line design projects.
• Perform engineering analyses and prepare bidding documents.
• Work with clients, project planning, and construction management personnel.

Skills

Experience in reviewing full transmission line designs

Knowledge of NESC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE code requirements

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Proven communication skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering
