Job summary
A top engineering firm seeks Senior & Lead Transmission Line Engineers based in the US. Candidates will design high-voltage transmission systems, applying engineering standards and leading project teams. Ideal for those with a degree in civil or mechanical engineering and at least four years of relevant experience. Qualifications
- Minimum of four years' relevant experience in electric utility transmission systems design.
- Leadership experience for Lead Level candidates over project teams or junior staff required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Engineers on electric transmission line design projects.
- Apply engineering standards in design of electrical overhead and underground systems.
- Prepare bidding documents, plans, specifications, and procurement documents.
Skills
Experience in reviewing full transmission line designs
Knowledge of NESC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE code requirements
Ability to work effectively in team environment
Expert-level proficiency in PLS-CADD
Experience with foundation analysis software
Education
Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering
