Job summary

A.N. Deringer, Inc. is seeking a Senior Trade Advisor to join the Trade Advisory Group. This remote role supports a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST schedule and collaborates with clients and internal colleagues to provide timely guidance within prescribed timeframes.

The position requires extensive customs brokerage experience, research ability, and strong MS Office skills. Travel up to 10% may be needed. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a Customs Broker’s License, including US Citizenship.
• Experience in classification activities related to customs.
• Minimum 7 years in customs brokerage or auditing roles.

Responsibilities

• Conducts independent Customs related research for clients.
• Develops project plans to determine time frames and procedures.
• Trains customers about import/export regulations as needed.
• Interprets government import/export regulations for client situations.
• Performs complex data analysis for goods across industries.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.
