Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Staff Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to lead advanced threat analysis from a fully remote location. The role focuses on synthesizing attacker intent, geopolitical factors, and long-term campaigns into actionable insights for executive teams.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in cybersecurity, deep threat intelligence expertise, and the ability to mentor analysts while guiding cross-functional collaboration with legal, PR, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with a focus on cyber threat intelligence.
• Deep understanding of the cyber threat landscape and actor groups.
• Proven ability to create and leverage formal intelligence networks.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience analyzing malware, network traffic, and vulnerabilities for IOC extraction.
• Proficiency with threat intel platforms (TIPs) and SIEM tools.
• Familiarity with Python scripting and data analysis.
• Certifications such as GCIA/GCIP/GCTI are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply broad expertise in cyber threat intelligence to identify and analyze threats.
• Lead development of strategic objectives for cyber threat intelligence and security posture.
• Work on high-impact intelligence challenges requiring deep contextual analysis.
• Produce strategic reports and executive briefings for diverse audiences.
• Mentor analysts and guide projects within the CTI team.
• Develop innovative methodologies, tools, and processes for CTI.
