Job summary

BlackSky is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join the People team. The role focuses on full lifecycle recruitment for technical positions, with emphasis on passive sourcing, interview management, and compliant government contracting hiring practices.

The position reports to the Sr Manager, People & Culture and may be remote in certain states. Washington salary range is discussed, with benefits and career growth options across a multi-state employer.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full life cycle recruiting for technical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years recruiting in the aerospace industry.
• Experience using an ATS (Greenhouse!).
• Strong sourcing, negotiation, scheduling, and networking via social media (LinkedIn).
• Experience with compensation benchmarking tools and offering guidance.
• Understanding of recruiting compliance and reporting.
• Experience recruiting for a government contractor.
• Excellent communication and organization; multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience recruiting for non-exempt positions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Hiring Managers to identify solutions to recruiting challenges throughout the cycle.
• Manage applicant tracking, review resumes, qualify candidates, and coordinate interviews.
• Schedule interviews; work with candidates, recruiters and hiring managers across BlackSky.
• Post requisitions reflecting duties, education, and security classifications.
• Conduct compensation benchmarking and provide guidance on offers.
• Source top talent using tools like LinkedIn and Zip Recruiter.
• Communicate with hiring managers about needs and progress.
• Maintain recruitment records.
• Act as a strong advocate for BlackSky with candidates and employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
