Job summary

BlackSky is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our People team, focusing on full lifecycle recruiting for technical roles including software engineers and AI/ML specialists. The role emphasizes passive candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and compliance for government contractor needs, reporting to the Sr Manager, People & Culture.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in technical recruiting, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and experience with Greenhouse and LinkedIn sourcing.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years’ experience of full life cycle recruiting, with heavy focus on technical roles (software development, AI/ML, engineering).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
At least two years’ recruiting experience in aerospace.
Experience using Greenhouse ATS.
Strong sourcing, negotiation, interview scheduling and social networking skills.

Responsibilities

Partner with Hiring Managers to identify recruitment solutions across the cycle.
Manage applicant tracking, resume review, candidate qualification, and interview coordination.
Schedule interviews (phone/video) and coordinate with candidates and interviewers.
Post requisitions reflecting duties, responsibilities, and required security classifications.
Conduct compensation benchmarking and provide offer guidance.
Source top talent using tools (LinkedIn, Zip Recruiter, etc.).
Maintain recruitment records and be a positive company ambassador.
