Job summary

EY seeks a Senior Consultant in the United States to join engagement teams delivering consulting services and developing business with clients in life insurance, group benefits, and retirement. The BTG practice focuses on reimagining, modernizing, and delivering sustainable value.

You will lead platform delivery, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure alignment with architecture, security, and regulatory requirements. Travel up to 50% to meet client needs is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant working experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in Life, annuity, or Group benefits.
• Experience with policy administration platforms (FAST, FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro, or similar).
• Knowledge of Life & Annuity value chain (config, underwriting, policy admin, servicing, claims).
• Experience delivering in onshore/offshore delivery models with clients and vendors.
• Hands-on platform configuration & integration (APIs, middleware, data migration).
• Strong business, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of platform solutions aligned with objectives, architecture, and program commitments.
• Manage delivery planning, scope, risks, issues, and milestones across cross‑functional teams.
• Coordinate platform configuration, integration, and implementation across business, tech, and vendors.
• Translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans and roadmaps.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture, security, regulatory, and operational goals.
• Monitor program health and drive risk mitigation and issue resolution.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore teams to deliver quality outcomes.
• Support governance forums with status updates and insights.
• Promote Agile/SAFe delivery, testing, release management, DevOps, and readiness.
• Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement.
