Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a REMOTE Senior Tax Manager to join our accounting and finance team. This role focuses on strategic tax planning, compliance, and managing audits for a diverse clientele, including high net worth individuals and corporations.

Responsibilities include leading tax engagements, mentoring staff, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver accurate federal and state returns while maintaining budget and timelines. Hybrid options and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or tax consulting.
• Proficiency with business tax returns, 1120S, S Corp, high net worth, corp and individual tax planning.
• Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, training and mentoring abilities; team collaboration.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment; detail oriented.
• Proficient with MS Office and tax software such as ProSystem fx or similar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services.
• Review and prepare federal and state returns for individuals, businesses, and entities.
• Build client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business.
• Assist with client management and planning; coordinate detailed technical services.
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on tax projects.
• Work with partners and staff to integrate practice development into client service.
• Plan and direct tax projects across industries; develop tax planning and compliance strategies.
