What We Do

The Systems Administrator ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our in-house information systems supporting core organizational functions. Responsibilities include monitoring, maintaining, supporting, patching, and optimizing all networked software and operating systems. The role requires applying communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate, and resolve issues, maximizing IT system investments.

Essential Functions

  1. Receive work assignments via the ticketing system or from Lead Administrators/management.
  2. Perform server software installation and maintenance, ranging from standard to complex tasks.
  3. Install and maintain infrastructure management tools.
  4. Monitor and analyze system logs, alerts, and reports to identify and resolve issues.
  5. Provide advanced problem resolution, performance monitoring, and capacity planning support.
  6. Develop and implement departmental workflow automation processes and procedures.
  7. Ensure the security, availability, performance, and scalability of our enterprise directory and collaboration infrastructure.
  8. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers, providing technical guidance and support for collaboration and directory services.
  9. Contribute to technical evaluations and proof of concept programs for new technologies and tools.
  10. Provide on-call support during off-hours on a scheduled/rotating basis.
  11. Perform duties outside normal hours based on business needs.

Knowledge and Skills / Technology Used

  • Design, install, configure, and troubleshoot Active Directory, ADFS, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, and related technologies.
  • Administer Active Directory DNS and BlueCat Enterprise DNS for reliability and security.
  • Support and administer Proofpoint email gateway and security platforms.
  • Knowledge of email delivery principles and authentication protocols like SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
  • Basic understanding of AWS and Azure cloud virtualization platforms.
  • Strong organization skills to prioritize work.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, multi-location team.

Typical Education

BS Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typical Range of Experience

Typically, 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Directory Services and related technologies.

License or Certification

  • Desired Certifications: Microsoft Windows OS, Storage Area Networking, Infrastructure Management Tools, VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V virtualization technologies.

Pay Range: $86,700 - $144,500

This range is an estimate at the time of posting. Pay depends on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, and location.
