Job summary

Foth is seeking a Lead Stormwater & Water Resources Engineer to provide technical leadership across stormwater, drainage, flood mitigation, and water resources projects nationwide. The role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys solving complex challenges and mentoring others.

The ideal candidate will be located near one of Foth’s office locations; remote candidates may be considered based on alignment with the role’s needs and background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure in applicable jurisdictions.
• Experience in stormwater, drainage, and water resources engineering with complex technical delivery.
• Experience providing technical leadership, reviews, and guidance on water resources projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of stormwater systems, drainage infrastructure, watershed studies, and flood mitigation projects.
• Lead hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software and provide analysis for planning and permitting.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, model reviews, and technical training.
• Coordinate with agencies and prepare reports, studies, and permit applications.
