Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking a Lead Stormwater & Water Resources Engineer to provide technical leadership on nationwide stormwater, drainage, and water resources projects. Ideal for a senior engineer who mentors others, improves standards, and applies advanced modeling tools.

The successful candidate will be located near one of Foth’s offices, with consideration for remote work based on role alignment and background. Strong communication with clients and agencies is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure.
Experience in stormwater, drainage, and water resources engineering.
Experience providing technical leadership and quality reviews.
Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.

Responsibilities

Lead stormwater, drainage, flood risk, and water resources projects across markets.
Provide technical oversight for reports, modeling, designs, and specs.
Mentor engineers through reviews and training.
Develop discipline standards, design guides, QA/QC, workflows, and training.
Coordinate permitting and agency communications for projects.
