IDC is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to support storage research across server-based, file-based, and object-based storage. You will develop market models and deliver qualitative and quantitative insights to vendors, IT buyers, and investors.

You will collaborate with senior analysts to craft the storage narrative and contribute to reports on current industry trends and future growth. Remote work from the United States is supported, with travel ~15% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• ~5 years of end-user or vendor storage/IT infra experience.
• Strong quantitative and/or modeling skills, database experience a bonus.
• Good problem solving and communications skills.
• Travel ~15% and remote work from near an airport.

Responsabilités

• Support IDC's global enterprise storage infrastructure coverage with qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Develop and maintain market models for server-, file-, and object-based storage segments.
• Deliver industry trends and market adoption analyses to vendors, buyers, and investors.
• Collaborate with analysts to produce reports on current state and future growth of storage platforms.
