You will lead technical work, contribute hands-on coding in Python/SQL/Java/Scala, and mentor others while driving data strategy and governance across the enterprise. As a Remote-Eligible role, you will collaborate with teams across the company, focusing on scalable architectures, data sharing, and platform reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
• At least 9 years of experience in data engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in data architecture
• At least 3 years of experience building applications in AWS
• At least 7 years of experience programming with Python, Java, or Scala
• At least 6 years of experience designing and developing data pipelines
• At least 4 years of experience in data modeling and end‑to‑end data solutions using relational and non‑relational databases

Responsibilities

• Build and advance data platforms to enable scalable, governed data sharing
• Lead and mentor engineers; influence architecture and best practices
• Communicate with stakeholders across the enterprise and drive alignment
• Design, implement, and socialize data strategy artifacts and roadmaps
• Contribute hands‑on coding and technical leadership for critical data projects
