Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. is seeking a Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer to develop, maintain, and simulate spacecraft Electrical Power Subsystems.

This role requires strong engineering experience in aerospace programs and hands-on coding across multiple subsystems. The position offers fully remote opportunities across the United States with preferred sites in Arlington VA, Denver CO, or Merritt Island FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE, CS, math, aerospace, or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years with a Bachelor's, or 6 years with a Master's.
• Experience with spacecraft programs.
• Strong programming/scripting capability and tools familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Model and analyze Electrical Power Subsystems (EPS) for Airbus U.S. spacecraft.
• Validate flight software interaction with hardware; contribute to mission planning.
• Develop plume analyses for Hall-effect thrusters and collaborate across disciplines.
