Job summary

Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc is seeking a Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer to develop, maintain, and run simulations of spacecraft electrical power and propulsion subsystems.

You will collaborate with thermal, attitude, avionics, propulsion, and flight software teams. Responsibilities include power and plume analyses, validating flight software interfaces, and supporting mission planning across the full development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, aerospace engineering, or related fields.
• Preferred: Master's degree in related areas.

Responsibilities

• Model and analyze Electrical Power Subsystems (EPS) for spacecraft.
• Collaborate with thermal, attitude & orbit control, avionics, propulsion, and flight software teams.
• Validate flight software controlling EPS and model plume interactions for thrusters.
