Job summary

Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc is seeking a Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer to develop, maintain, and execute simulations of spacecraft electrical power and propulsion subsystems.

The role requires strong engineering experience in aerospace programs and the ability to write and maintain code. Responsibilities include EPS modeling, validation of flight software interactions, and plume analyses while collaborating with thermal, avionics, propulsion, and other subsystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, aerospace engineering, or related areas.
• Preferred: Master's in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, aerospace engineering, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Model and analyze Electrical Power Subsystems (EPS) for Airbus U.S. spacecraft.
• Validate flight software interaction with hardware and planning for mission operations.
• Collaborate with thermal, attitude & orbit control, avionics, propulsion, and flight software; support plume analyses of Hall-effect thrusters.
