Cisco seeks a Senior Software Security Lead to own security across the IT and Enterprise Operations portfolio. You will drive threat modeling, secure design reviews, and risk-based prioritization with cross-functional teams, including PM, Engineering, and IT.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field with 11+ years in software/security.
Experience leading threat modeling and secure design reviews for complex software, including AI-enabled features.
Ability to interpret SAST/DAST/SCA results and guide risk-based remediation for cloud-native apps and CI/CD pipelines.
Influence engineering and product leadership to drive security outcomes without direct authority.

Responsibilities

Maintain a current, data-backed view of security posture for the portfolio.
Lead threat modeling and secure design reviews across systems, including AI-enabled features.
Advise and influence PM, Engineering, IT/Operations, and BOS partners on security priorities.
Set architecture security bar and make risk-based trade-off calls within scope.
Define and drive security engineering metrics and track remediation progress.
