Job summary

Convera is seeking a senior software program manager to lead complex development initiatives across web services, deployment, and partner integrations. You will set objectives, policies, roadmaps, and work plans, and delegate tasks to cross-functional teams while aligning with organizational goals.

You will guide Agile sprint teams, oversee architecture and SDLC activities, and drive modernization for high-volume payments and AML operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required; 8+ years of related experience.
• Master’s degree acceptable in lieu of 8 years of experience.
• Experience with project planning tools such as Smart Sheet; Database design using SQL/NoSQL; SQL Server/Oracle databases; C#, .Net Core; ETL tools like SSIS/Informatica/Talend; Analytics tools BO, QlikView, SSRS; SDLC tools Jira/Confluence; Git/SVN.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee complex software development initiatives across web services, deployment, and partner framework integrations.
• Lead Agile sprint teams in planning, prioritizing, and delivering software features in alignment with project requirements and goals.
• Oversee system and software architecture development, requirements, and technical design activities.
• Direct modernization efforts for transaction monitoring and sanction screening systems for high-volume payments, AML, and FX operations.
• Contribute to full-cycle web application and middleware development: analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance.
• Oversee database data retrieval strategies and develop data migration plans for upgrades and integrations.
• Position allows 100% remote work from anywhere in the U.S. and reports to Convera’s HQ.
