Job summary

Sharetec is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Digital team, building and owning full stack solutions for Digital Banking. Work across frontend (React, TypeScript, Next.js) and backend (C#, ASP.NET Core), including iOS/Android via React Native, in a remote, async environment.

The role emphasizes modernization of legacy systems, API layer expansion, and end-to-end ownership from design to production, with a focus on delivering real value to hundreds of credit unions and their members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with full stack ownership.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for production frontend apps.
• Experience with Next.js or a comparable server-side rendering framework.
• Experience shipping production mobile apps to the App Store and Google Play with React Native.
• Solid backend development experience with C# / ASP.NET Core; comfortable with other typed backends.
• Strong API design and integration experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL in production.
• Experience with Docker and containerized development or deployment environments.
• Demonstrated experience modernizing an existing production system.
• Excellent communication skills for remote, async collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, maintainable full stack systems aligned with the Digital roadmap.
• Lead architectural discussions across modernization initiatives and the new Digital API layer.
• Contribute to API design standards and integration patterns for the Digital Banking platform.
• Build, test, and maintain production features across web and mobile platforms (React, TypeScript, Next.js, C#, ASP.NET Core).
• Work within Docker containers and contribute to CI/CD pipeline health.
• Collaborate with teammates, participate in design reviews, and mentor others.
