Qualifications

• 7+ years in software development with secure, scalable backend services in Java/Spring Boot.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with AWS services and microservice deployment.
• Experience with GraphQL API design and Java implementation.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases; distributed systems troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical decisions for robust order processing capabilities.
• Mentor engineers, review code, and promote AI tooling adoption.
• Collaborate with Product Managers from ideation to release and maintenance.
• Build and maintain highly available backend systems and service integrations.
• Drive QA activities and quality initiatives with QA teams.
