Job summary

Keeper Security is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Browser Extension team. You will develop and enhance browser extension features with JavaScript, React, Redux, and Jest to secure millions of users’ digital lives.

You will collaborate with product managers and designers, follow TDD, and ensure code quality while maintaining performance and security across major browsers. This is 100% remote in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript development.
• 3+ years of experience with React, Redux, Jest, and TypeScript.
• Experience with browser extension development across multiple browsers.
• Experience with Webpack, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of frontend architectures and UI/UX principles.
• Experience with writing unit and integration tests with Jest.
• Ability to maintain a large codebase with scalable, secure features.
• Excellent communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable features for the Keeper Browser Extension using JavaScript, React, Redux, and Jest.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver the best user experience.
• Ensure coding standards and test-driven development (TDD) with unit tests in Jest and code reviews.
• Improve performance, reliability, and security of the browser extension to meet user needs.
• Review, maintain, and refactor the codebase to keep it scalable and maintainable.
• Engage in code reviews and share knowledge with the team.
