Job summary

Intone Networks Inc. seeks a Senior Snowflake and SAP S/4 Analyst for a remote, US-based contract (3–4 months). The role focuses on bridging architecture, data engineering, and business analysis to reverse engineer data solutions and enable SAP S/4HANA data integration into Snowflake-based data products.

You will collaborate with SAP and data engineering teams to design ingestion frameworks, ensure data quality, and produce detailed specifications for seamless SAP/Snowflake integration.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with Snowflake including warehousing concepts, schema design, performance optimization, and SQL.
• Experience interpreting SAP S/4 data structures (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP) and mapping to Snowflake models.
• Ability to read SAP metadata from tables, CDS views, IDocs, or SAP BW artifacts.
• Knowledge of ELT/ETL frameworks, data modeling concepts, and data pipeline architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to reverse engineer existing datasets, views, or dashboards.
• High competency in writing detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional SAP and data engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer existing data products, pipelines, and models to understand logic and transformation rules.
• Collaborate with SAP functional/technical teams to map SAP S/4HANA data to Snowflake models.
• Design functional and technical specs for SAP-Snowflake integration and downstream data products.
• Evaluate SAP source data for quality and alignment with reporting needs.
• Define ingestion frameworks, staging layers, data transformations, and semantic models with engineers.
• Translate business use cases into data requirements across enterprise domains.
• Prepare lineage docs, data dictionaries, and interface specifications.
• Define test scenarios and validate data transformations across pipelines.
• Suggest improvements to Snowflake models and warehouse configurations based on findings.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies for SAP/Snowflake integration.
