Job summary

Skylight is seeking a Senior/Staff Service Designer to lead end‑to‑end service design work for a U.S. Air Force program. You will map journeys, analyze end users and workflows, and influence multiple teams to shape the evolving user portal across value streams.

The role emphasizes systems analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and documentation, with a fully remote arrangement and quarterly travel to San Antonio. Candidates must align with federal contracting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Map a unified customer journey across value streams and teams.
• Represent customer needs for each value stream and guide portal sequencing.
• Plan and synthesize research into service blueprints and journey maps.
• Prioritize service improvements without breaking current capabilities.
• Lead PI planning events translating stakeholder input into decisions.
• Maintain organized, clear documentation throughout the process.
