Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced security/network engineer to drive segmentation across Kubernetes clusters, enforce mTLS service mesh security, and manage cloud network controls. You will build telemetry, support Zero Trust adoption, and guide incident containment in a distributed environment.

Responsibilities include evolving network policies, IaC governance, and cross-team collaboration to balance speed with security in production fintech-like environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in security, network, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on ownership of network controls in cloud production environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes networking and CNIs, NetworkPolicy semantics.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of network segmentation across Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop identity-aware, mutual TLS service connectivity.
• Maintain inventory of AWS VPCs, peerings, and endpoints.
• Enforce production network security boundaries and PCI DSS readiness.
• Collaborate on Zero Trust and identity-aware access controls.
• Build telemetry pipelines and SIEM integrations.
• Establish admission controls for Kubernetes workloads and IaC governance.
• Detect configuration drift and enforce changes via CI/CD.
• Contain incidents and contribute to incident response.
• Participate in threat modeling and security reviews.
• Contribute to on-call rotations and improve reliability.
