Loancrate Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Security to strengthen our security posture across applications, cloud infrastructure, and compliance. You will craft secure defaults, build tooling, and partner with engineers to ship high-security software quickly.

You’ll work in a remote-first environment in the United States, coordinating with a distributed team to protect sensitive financial data and enable compliant, reliable origination workflows.

Competenze

• Experience leading threat modeling and remediation in cloud-native, fintech or regulated environments.
• Strong AWS security expertise across IAM, VPC, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, KMS, Secrets Manager.
• Experience building and maintaining security tooling and automation in CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to design, implement and audit a secure SDLC and SOC 2 Type II controls.

Mansioni

• Lead across application, cloud security, identity, and compliance initiatives.
• Conduct regular threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and external/internal pen tests with engineering remediation.
• Build and maintain security tooling and automation integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Harden AWS environment and manage audit-ready SOC 2 posture.
• Own identity and access infrastructure (SSO, MFA, SCIM, access reviews).
• Contribute to security documentation, runbooks, and developer enablement.
