Job summary

Aledade is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security tooling across our infrastructure. You will lead and coach junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen our security posture.

You will drive threat modeling, implement SIEM/EDR, and manage vulnerability programs across AWS/Azure/GCP, with IaC and CI/CD automation. A focus on secure configurations and incident response will be central to this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in security engineering designing and managing security tools.
• Strong Threat Modeling Principles knowledge.
• Experience with incident response and risk management.
• Hands-on with SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability tools.
• Proficient in securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• IaC/CI/CD tooling experience and scripting ability.
• DevSecOps, container security, and CI/CD pipeline security.

Responsibilities

• Focus on infrastructure security through architecture reviews and threat modeling.
• Design, deploy, and manage security tools like SIEM, EDR, DLP, and firewalls.
• Integrate security tooling across cloud environments; collaborate with cloud teams.
• Evaluate and configure new security technologies to address threats.
• Develop secure configurations for OS and apps; automate with scripts and IaC.
• Conduct security assessments and manage vulnerability programs.
