Job summary

VivoSense, Inc. is seeking a Senior Scientific Platform Engineer to join a tight-knit team. You will design and build scalable platform components, data processing workflows, and APIs used in clinical studies and real-world digital measures.

You will collaborate with Science, Data Science, Product, Quality, and Engineering to translate complex scientific workflows into robust, production-ready software, focusing on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Master’s or Ph.D. in CS, SE, biomedical eng, data science, or related field.
5+ years of software development experience.
Strong Python and backend services proficiency.
Experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
Ability to translate scientific workflows into scalable software.
Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software components, data processing workflows, reporting solutions, and platform services.
Transform research outputs into robust software for clinical studies and deliverables.
Design integrations for new sensors, data sources, and platform capabilities.
Create technical designs, implementation specs, validation docs, and procedures.
Support verification, validation, testing, troubleshooting, and release activities.
Collaborate with Engineering to deploy scientific workflows and analytics within the product ecosystem.
Identify opportunities to improve scalability, maintainability, and automation.
