Job summary

Lockwood is seeking a Senior Scientific Director, Team Lead, to spearhead planning, development and oversight of scientific content for assigned accounts across therapeutic areas. You will manage the scientific contributions for large or multiple accounts and lead client interactions and brand strategy with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 10+ years in promotional medical education content, exceptional organizational and analytical skills, and expertise in AMA editorial guidelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with promotional medical education content (advisory boards, speaker programs, slide decks, etc).
• Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal communication skills; ability to analyze scientific data, multitask, work independently and manage projects on tight deadlines.
• Experience with established medical editorial processes (AMA style) and ethical guidelines.
• Experience with oncology; rare oncology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned accounts and client interactions; guide brand strategy and the scientific portion of brand planning.
• Oversee scientific content development, manage resources and timelines; collaborate with services to develop SOWs and timelines.
• Identify areas for new and organic growth while ensuring scientific accuracy and relevance across therapeutic areas.
