Job summary
MEPPI is seeking a Principal Sales Engineer to lead business development and sales for FACTS and HVDC solutions within the Substation Division. This remote position is based in the United States with travel of less than 50%.
You will drive strategic pursuits and develop customer relationships to modernize and secure grid reliability across North America. You will lead technical and commercial proposals, collaborate with MELCO and EPCs, and help shape pricing and contract negotiations to win
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of sales, business development, or commercial experience in electrical equipment or transmission projects.
- Proven success closing large-scale utility or power infrastructure opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development and sales for FACTS and HVDC solutions across North America.
- Develop and execute customer-specific sales strategies and bid leadership during proposals.
- Coordinate with MELCO, EPCs, and utilities to secure strategic opportunities.
- Deliver technical and commercial leadership in bids, price strategies, and negotiations.
