Job summary

At Atlassian, we’re looking for a versatile analytics engineer to design data infrastructure, ensure data quality, and enable analytics across the organization. You’ll build robust ETL/ELT pipelines and a canonical data layer to support AI-enabled decision making.

You will collaborate with finance, data engineering, and cross-functional teams to align data across Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, Gainsight, and Databricks, champion best practices, and scale data products for a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, BI, or related field.
• Expert level proficiency with SQL and data modeling.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Looker.
• Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or Hubspot and ERP systems like Oracle or Netsuite.
• Ability to architect data models for scale and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure for analytical workflows.
• Lead development of data products and an AI context layer for scalable analytics.
• Develop high-volume ETL/ELT pipelines using data lake and warehouse concepts.
• Collaborate with finance, data engineering, and cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Perform sizing analyses for infrastructure changes and conduct QA on source data quality.
