Ideal candidates have 5–6+ years of accounting experience, strong GL, month-end close, and reconciliation skills, plus at least 2 years of hands-on Sage Intacct experience. 40 hours/week, 4-month contract; onsite or remote, ET time zone.

Qualifications

• 5–6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on Sage Intacct experience required.
• Strong general ledger, month-end close, and account reconciliation experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• ERP implementation or system transition experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and account analysis.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and research discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close activities, schedules, and related accounting processes.
• Review subledger and general ledger activity and resolve variances.
• Provide hands-on Sage Intacct support throughout and following the system implementation.
• Assist with system testing, transaction validation, and accounting-related troubleshooting.
• Maintain day-to-day accounting operations while providing temporary team coverage.
• Partner with finance and implementation teams to identify and resolve process and system issues.
• Support process improvements and help maintain accurate financial data and internal controls.
