Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Ruby on Rails development experience.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong relational database experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Hands-on testing experience with RSpec.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Build robust Ruby services to support critical operations.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Leads and Engineering teams on standards and governance.
• Integrate APIs with internal systems and third-party services.
• Create API documentation for maintenance and onboarding.
• Implement security best practices (auth, encryption).
• Monitor API performance and optimize for reliability and scalability.
• Participate in on-call rotations for incident response.
