Job summary

Surefire Cyber is seeking a Principal Consultant in Restoration and Remediation to lead complex post-incident recovery engagements for enterprise clients. You will advise executives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and oversee technical execution across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS environments.

You will mentor consultants, improve playbooks, and help mature internal capabilities while engaging DFIR, IT, legal and insurers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity, incident response, or IT infra engineering.
• Proven leadership guiding enterprise-scale recovery during cyber incidents.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executives and legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recovery operations for complex cyber incidents.
• Architect remediation plans across hybrid on-prem, cloud, and SaaS.
• Mentor consultants and evolve internal playbooks and tooling.
• Advise executives on remediation strategy, timelines, and resilience.
• Coordinate DFIR, IT, legal, and insurers, ensuring alignment.
