Job summary

Surefire Cyber in the United States seeks a Senior Consultant, Restoration to lead client recovery from cyber incidents, restore compromised systems, and implement remediation strategies. This full-time remote role collaborates with DFIR, legal counsel, insurers, and clients to deliver rapid, secure restoration and strengthen cyber resilience.

You will apply expertise in Active Directory, virtualization, backups, and security controls, and you will automate recovery with PowerShell while guiding

Qualifications

• DFIR and restoration experience in a consulting setting.
• Experience deploying and managing IT infrastructure and security controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DFIR, legal counsel, insurers, and clients to restore systems after incidents.
• Restore compromised environments and secure infrastructures post‑event.
• Automate recovery tasks using PowerShell and standard tooling.
• Document restoration activities, lessons learned, and best practices for clients.
• Provide after‑hours on‑call support as required.
