Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a PRN Senior Instructor Researcher to lead both qualitative and quantitative research efforts across health services projects. You will design studies, manage data collection, and co-author manuscripts with principal investigators.

The role supports IRB processes, uses ATLAS.ti, REDCap, and Qualtrics, and provides guidance to a team while operating in a remote-friendly environment within the United States.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree required (PhD in social/behavioral sciences health sciences, public health, sociology or related discipline).
• At least five years of demonstrated experience and success using qualitative and mixed methods research designs.
• Demonstrated experience leading the qualitative research components of clinical and health services research projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and reporting of qualitative research or evaluation tasks.
• Effectively collect, manage, and analyze qualitative data independently or with a team.
• Provide team instruction or coaching for use of qualitative methods, including interviewing techniques.
• Provide expert instruction and guidance on the use of ATLAS.ti for qualitative data management and analysis.
• Develop qualitative data collection tools (e.g., interview guides).
• Arrange transcription and translation services as needed.
• Provide support for IRB reviews of qualitative methods as needed.
• Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of quantitative data collection.
• Design, implement, and maintain web-based data collection systems using REDCap and/or Qualtrics.
• Develop data reporting systems (e.g., dashboards) using R, Excel, REDCap, or Qualtrics.
• Support data analysts with data production and data preparation tasks.
• Design and implement mixed-methods analysis plans to blend qualitative and quantitative data.
