Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Senior React Engineer to design and build pages of our Online Banking application. You will provide technical guidance, estimate efforts, and oversee distributed teams while delivering rapid, high-quality features.

You will work closely with Product and stakeholders to ensure scalable, reliable solutions, spending substantial time on system design and hands-on implementation. A deep focus on frontend excellence and collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Front End/UI focused Software Engineer experience.
• Solid experience with React 16+, Redux, Mobx Store Management, Node.js, Typescript, ES6, CSS3, Jest Test.
• Deep love of building elegant, maintainable, well-documented, secure code.

Responsibilities

• Lead design decisions and contribute to hands-on implementation.
• Collaborate with Product and business owners to meet user needs with scalable designs.
• Drive architectural discussions and mentor junior engineers.
• Estimate large features and releases and break them down for the team.
• Ensure code quality and participate in code reviews.
