Job summary

Procore Technologies is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for its Aerial Capture team to own quality across drone software and hardware integrations. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and field QA to define test programs, lead acceptance tests, and ensure high-quality releases.

You will execute flight tests, build automated test frameworks, and drive AI‑driven testing workflows while maintaining regression suites for mobile and embedded components. Travel 1–2 times per quarter as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of quality engineering or QA for hardware, mobile, or autonomous/robotics products.
• Hands-on testing of mobile apps (Android/iOS) using Appium/Espresso/Detox.
• Ability to write code or scripts (Python/TypeScript/JavaScript) to build test automation.
• FAA Part 107 Certificate or ability to obtain.
• Experience using AI tools for test setup, analysis, or bug evaluation.
• Experience managing test suites via Qase and defect tracking in Jira.
• Familiarity with CI/CD (GitHub Actions/CircleCI/Jenkins) and embedded firmware/RTK workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily flight testing for regression, acceptance, and validation with sufficient flight space.
• Define and execute comprehensive test plans for new software features and releases.
• Coordinate QA programs, schedule testing workflows, and document processes to improve throughput.
• Enforce bug reporting standards with clear repro steps, severity, logs, and media.
• Manage regression testing across Dock, Android, and iOS platforms with end‑to‑end workflows.
• Apply AI-first approach and automation tools to speed up test design and triage.
• Track quality metrics and analyze post‑release issues to reduce deployment risk.
• Maintain device/drone inventory, firmware tracking, and test case management.
