Job summary

TherapyNotes LLC is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions across API and UI layers for our leading SaaS platform. You will help drive performance testing efforts and guide automation strategy across a distributed engineering team.

You will mentor peers, promote testing best practices, and ensure automation integrates smoothly with CI/CD to accelerate delivery while maintaining high quality across our applications.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in an Agile, team-based environment.
• 5+ years developing API and UI test automation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright).
• Experience contributing to load/performance testing efforts (JMeter, k6, Gatling).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites for API and UI layers.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to improve efficiency and delivery speed.
• Contribute to load, stress, and endurance testing to validate performance and scalability.
• Analyze test failures, perform root cause analysis, and create defect reports.
• Mentor teammates on automation design patterns and best practices.
