Theori is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance AI-driven security analysis, focusing on mobile platforms and the Xint framework. The role emphasizes turning hands-on security research into automated systems, with opportunities to work on both commercial products and government-related research.

You will join a US-based engineering team, with a background in reverse engineering and a drive to ship robust, scalable tooling across Python and related technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with reverse engineering tools (Binary Ninja, IDA Pro, or Ghidra).
• Understanding of mobile platform internals (Android/iOS).
• Knowledge of program analysis concepts (control flow, data flow, taint tracking).
• U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain analysis capabilities powering Theori's AI security platforms.
• Build static and binary analysis tooling in Python on top of reverse engineering frameworks.
• Develop instrumentation and test infrastructure for evaluating applications on real devices.
• Collaborate with security researchers to automate manual techniques.
• Measure and improve analysis quality against real-world targets.
• Write clean, tested Python code and document results.
