Job summary

MetaMetrics, Inc. in Durham, NC (Fully Remote) seeks a Senior Psychometrician to lead validity, reliability, and fairness of our assessment products. You will apply rigorous psychometric methods across educational measurement, collaborating with Research, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to improve learner outcomes.

Ph.D. in educational statistics or related field with 5+ years of experience; expertise in item analysis, calibration, linking, Rasch, and related software is expected.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in educational statistics, measurement, psychometrics, or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience as a practicing psychometrician.
• Experience with educational assessment and standard psychometric procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develops plans and executes psychometric projects and research.
• Directs creation and maintenance of project schedules and client communications.
• Conducts linking/equating studies and develops research summaries.
• Implements psychometric methods per best practices and literature.
• Maintains familiarity with test delivery methods and statistical techniques.
• Provides expert consultation to clients and stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
