Job summary

Amgen is seeking a remotely based Project Management, Senior Associate to coordinate scientific data and support key business functions. You will organize data, collaborate across scientists, data management resources, and business teams, and help modernize manual workflows. Occasional travel up to 20% could be required.

The role demands a strong ability to escalate decisions, maintain data quality, and manage cross-functional projects within a premier biopharma environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Life Sciences or related field.
• 2 years of project coordination, technical operations, or process administration experience in Life Sciences.
• Associate’s degree with 6 years of project coordination, technical operations, or process administration experience in Life Sciences.
• High school diploma / GED with 8 years of related experience in Life Sciences.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across scientific, operational, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with data management in pharma/Life Sciences environments.

Responsibilities

• Compile scientific data into approved formats for sharing and verify records for completeness and alignment.
• Manage data requests by coordinating with scientists and data owners to identify systems and streamline data procurement.
• Coordinate approved data exchanges with internal and external partners, ensuring content, approvals and transfers are complete.
• Coordinate activities for internal initiatives and extramural memberships, including meetings and follow-up notes.
• Build business information tools by gathering user needs, documenting requirements, prioritizing, testing, and training.
• Identify repetitive workflows that can be modernized or automated.
• Maintain visibility to financial trackers and flag discrepancies or forecast variances.
