Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Program Manager to coordinate delivery of modernized applications, clinical informatics, and AI-enabled health IT projects for federal customers. You’ll align technical leads, PMO, product owners, and QA teams to translate priorities into concrete delivery plans and ensure timely releases across agile teams.

You will oversee schedules, risks, and dependencies while promoting SAFe and Agile practices, driving adoption of Ambient AI Scribe and related clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, informatics, or a related field; 8-12 years of experience.
• 5+ years of experience in technical project management or software delivery leadership.
• Experience coordinating multiple software development teams or complex technical projects.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile delivery, integrations, testing, and release management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Experience using Jira or Azure DevOps for project and backlog management.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate work across development, testing, platform, and production support teams.
• Partner with Product Owners and Business Analysts to prepare requirements and maintain backlogs.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, cross-team planning, and release readiness reviews.
• Identify impediments with technical leads and evaluate delivery options.
• Communicate project status, risks, and decisions to leadership.
• Track delivery performance and support continuous improvement.
• Coordinate production issue resolution and post-project follow-up.
