Job summary

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to support the Florida Accreditation Office and executive leadership across CFA and FCAC programs. The role focuses on complex administrative tasks, consulting, and regional agency support for accreditation and reaccreditation processes.

Remote work is eligible, with duties including outreach, policy review, and training design for CEOs and command staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations.
• Ability to write using good punctuation and spelling.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Ability to train others.
• Ability to navigate in a Windows environment on personal computers.
• Knowledge of the Florida accreditation process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact and provide support with accreditation managers to ensure successful completion of accreditation/reaccreditation process.
• Investigate, assess and make recommendations to resolve issues and programmatic operational problems.
• Ensure proper tracking of all agencies throughout the assigned region that are in various stages of the accreditation process.
• Advise Executive Director of any areas affecting operational impact.
• Serve on various Commission committees and provide input for reports and manuals.
• Review policies and directives and evaluate impact on operations.
• Conduct outreach activities and serve as staff liaison to increase the number of agencies in the accreditation process.
• Represent the Executive Director/Commission at meetings and external organizations.
• Provide interpretations of accreditation standards.
• Design curriculum and deliver accreditation-related training.
