Job summary

SimpliGov LLC is a government operations platform enabling state and local agencies to design, run, and improve program operations. We are seeking a Professional Services Manager to lead a remote team of Analysts and Project Managers, owning day-to-day delivery across implementations and serving as project manager on select initiatives.

The role reports to the Director of Professional Services and partners with fellow Managers to align project assignments, scale practices, and drive high

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manager or people management experience with teams of 5+.
• 4+ years in SaaS or implementations with SimpliGov platform expertise.
• Proven delivery oversight across multiple concurrent implementations.
• Experience conducting performance evaluations and coaching.
• Strong prioritization and capacity planning for team workloads.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ownership mindset.
• Familiar with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead a select number of projects directly as project manager.
• Own day-to-day execution and quality of all team deliverables.
• Prioritize workload, manage capacity, ensure standards.
• Mentor team members and guide their professional growth.
• Handle end-to-end performance management, evaluations, feedback.
• Run HR processes: time off, expenses, hiring, and bonuses.
• Coordinate with other Managers for balanced project assignments.
• Translate team KPIs into actionable leadership reports.
• Share team wins at company All Hands and with Product.
