Great American Risk Solutions in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Senior Production Underwriter for E&S Binding. This role focuses on underwriting non-admitted general liability, property and inland marine risks in the Northeast, with remote work option and a Cincinnati-on-site schedule four days a week.

You will lead a team, develop strategic underwriting plans, and maintain strong agent relationships to drive profitable growth while ensuring adherence to guidelines and risk selection standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Liberal Arts or related discipline.
• 3–6 years of underwriting experience.
• Experience with Northeast US markets and surplus lines binding authority preferred.
• Underwriting of general liability, property and inland marine lines.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategic underwriting plans for direct reports and assigned territory to support growth and profitability.
• Manages relationships with external general agents to attract and retain profitable business.
• Leads risk selection, pricing and guideline adherence for staff and agents.
• Provides coaching, performance management and training to underwriters.
• Conducts regular visits with agents to retain accounts and develop new opportunities.
• Represents the division in meetings and events as needed.
