Job summary

Ocient is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Database to lead end-to-end product strategy for large-scale data analytics products. This remote US role requires deep experience with databases, data movement, and enterprise software, driving roadmaps, prioritizing features, and collaborating with sales, marketing, and customers to deliver high-value solutions.

You will work with a Senior Vice President of Product Management and own roadmap development for use cases across industries, including

Qualifications

Significant experience: 10+ years in enterprise software.
5+ years in product management or closely collaborating with PMs.
5+ years with database or data analytics products.
Experience with on-premise, cloud, and service deployments.
Excellent presentation and written communication to senior audiences.
Ability to drive complex projects with many moving parts.

Responsibilities

Translate customer business problems into feature specifications with sales and partners.
Collaborate with technical PMs to build requirements and drive to completion.
Prioritize features to deliver highest value.
Own and develop roadmaps for key solutions and use cases.
Work with sales to communicate roadmap and priorities.
Monitor market positioning relative to customers and competition.
Coordinate with product marketing on strategy for owned solutions.
Engage directly with customers on new use cases as an advocate.
